Graphene Coatings to Protect
Graphene is a sheet of material that is ultra-thin and only one atom thick and thus will make an excellent coating for all sorts of things. You can just sit back and imagine how important such a coating could be and think of hundreds of great applications. For instance our Online Think Tank thought of quite a few. This might possibly sometime in the future prove to be the greatest new innovation of 2007. Below are a few simple applications for such a coating as a sample-

Becoming a Futurist - It May Be In Your Future
Often people ask me why I became a Futurist? The interesting thing is that our minds are set up to plan for the future, perhaps this is why the human species has indeed made it this far. Unfortunately, if we do not plan in advance and throw caution to the wind too often we make rather poor decisions and the law of unintended consequences prevails.

10 Challenges within the Educational System
This is not a how-to article and is not based on any other reference than the author's view on the subject. In a world crying for change in various areas, one must first identify what the critical points requiring change are before trying to elicit something new in its place. This is the vacuum law of improvement. With this in mind, I openly welcome you to read and share your opinions on the subject.

Perpetual Motion Blimp Concepts Considered
One of the coolest inventions of the Internet is probably the online think tanks, which spring up where folks can float concepts and discuss things. Recently in the online think tank that I run, someone said that it would be nice to build a circular hydro electric concept off shore to collect ocean wave energy. Indeed, that would be a brilliant idea, but how could that be done? Well there are many ways and yet the innovator who came up with the idea, just allowed other ideas to come out to see if in fact there were additional concepts to ponder?

Hydro-Electric Power Makes Sense; What About the Future?
Recently a very popular Online Think Tank was asked to review a totally new technology, which we generate energy from ocean waves and turn it into electricity. The design concept is totally revolutionary and the company's founder explained to the think tank how it all worked. Fieldstone Energy has several designs, which will capture ocean wave energy onshore or offshore.

2007 Trends in RFID Tags (Radio Frequency Identification Tags)
Most folks have heard of RFID tags or radio-frequency identification tags and some folks are concerned about electronic security and Big Brother syndrome that this new technology might lead too. Many of those incited by the sound and fury over RFID Tags do not want large corporations or to the government to know every single thing they do and everywhere they go or everything that they buy. However, RFID tags will indeed help consumers and the citizenry by lowering costs of all the products and services that are delivered due to creating a more efficient distribution system.

Indeed, we are watching improved performance in ROVs for underwater rescues, deep sea exploration and underwater infrastructure construction and repair in the private sector also moving forward rapidly.

The Time is Ripe to Replace the UNO With a United Planetary Organization
If in a particular country, if one or two court cases are fought, people will be amazed as to whether there is any individual who is full of hatred, cunningness and enmity. At that time there will be no racial difference or gender discrimination. A human religion will be established in the entire world. Today all nations have joined hands to establish the United Nations Organization in America. A time will come in the future when a United Planetary Nation will come into existence. Its capital could be any of the planets like Earth, Jupiter, Mercury etc. or another region outside our solar system.
