Three Ways to Lose an eBook Sale on eBay
Many of us spend a great deal of time and effort trying to find the best strategies to supercharge our eBook selling projects. We find out everything we can about optimal auction start times, listing strategies, pricing techniques and more. We do market research; bring serious copywriting techniques to bear within our auctions and constantly keep our ears open for some new suggestion, hint or wrinkle that will up our eBook sales. Those qualities, so often exhibited by talented eBay eBook sellers can, however, come with a price. Our constant search for new i

Creating a Media Kit to Sell Advertising
The first step you need to take in order to sell ads on your website is to create a page with all the details that anyone interested in advertising might need. Once you have made this page, link to it from all other pages using a link description such as 'Advertise with us', 'Advertise on this site', or 'See your ad on this site' etc. What needs to be added to this page is discussed here:IntroductionThe page should begin with what the advertisers will gain from advertising on your website.Create a Media Kit for AdvertisersCreate a M
Last week a friend of mine told me about a problem that she was having with her webmaster. She no longer trusted this person who was in charge of her ecommerce website.

Their relationship is similar to most webmaster – client relationships: the webmaster understands the complexity of web design and search engine placement and the client relies solely on her/his expertise. The client’s lack of technical knowledge and dependence can make them an unwitting victim of unscrupulous webmasters. That is exactly what happened to my friend.

Now, most webmasters are solid, upright citizens working hard for their clients. But the few bad apples... well, ruin it for everyone.

Webmasters are privy to many types of secure data. Some of the information that I routinely receive are client credit card numbers, home addresses, secret words or questions, usernames and passwords. Clients seem to be willing to hand over whatever information is necessary fo

Affiliate Marketing Basic Skill No 2 - Affiliate Autoresponder
As I have mentioned in the basic skill no 1 article on the importance of the business basic, the next basic skill that you will need to have is to have your own Autoresponder account. This can be the most important part of your whole affiliate marketing model if you really want to have a long term business.Autoresponder can be simply defined as a computer program or software that will enable you to collect customer data and send email immediately to the customer after they opt in. You will be able to follow up with them automatically by loading messages at a

The RSS Promise for Internet Users

    Scientific Management
In this article I will discuss scientific management. I will cover all the points that relate to this subject.Scientific management is defined as 'the use of a scientific fact-finding method to determine empirically the right ways to perform tasks'. In this scientific management philosophy, Taylor had different types of process to manipulate the weaknesses of the industries during his time. They were 'task management system, time study, standardised tools and procedures, individualised work, management responsibility for training, scientific selection a

Clients seem to be willing to hand over whatever information is necessary for securing their domain names, hosting service, payment gateways, and security certificate setups. In addition, I also have access to all customer purchase information: addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, credit card information, and login username and passwords.

With that in mind, security breaches and misuse of data become a possibility. Relying on a webmaster, whose moral base is, “whatever it takes to make a buck” will quickly develop into a disaster for the client.

Disaster struck my friend’s business. Her webmaster set up the website and email accounts and hosted it on his web server. He controls the entire process leaving my friend out of the loop. She submits changes to him as she does not even have a username and password. If the webma
