3 Essential Boundaries for Mom Entrepreneurs and Their Husbands
In the beginning, I thought it was going to be a breeze when my husband, Terry, joined me working full-time in my business. If anyone could do it, we could! We already had a healthy relationship built on trust and respect. We communicated well. We both strongly believed in what we were doing. We understood the need to help each other with the children, keeping the house, and with the business. We planned to allow for fluctuations in income to keep stresses over money to a minimum. Yet I still wasn’t prepared. For anyone considering working with your spouse, here are 3 Essential Boundaries for Entrepreneurial Couples to help to ease your transition:1. Clarify expectations for w

The web is a complex and ever-changing environment. Because of this, it is necessary to constantly be on the look out for new and better ways to market your website. Currently, fresh content is the best way to attract search engines to your site. Having up-to-date information will keep the search engines coming back to your site looking for more. Because of the search engine's attraction to new content, your updated site will be rewarded with higher placement in search results. Exactly how fresh should your content be? Consider updating your content several times per week - if not every other day, then twice weekly.
One popular trend to providing fresh content to a wide audience is the use of an RSS Feed.

    RSS Feeds. What are they?
There are several beliefs as to what "RSS" stands for, but the most commonly adopted meaning is "Really Simple Syndication". This term is quite appropriate, in fact, because of the ease of creating an RSS feed for broad distribution of your content. One example of effectively using an RSS feed is to create custom-written articles for your website. Put your articles on their own page (http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/articles/article1.htm).

After you create your RSS Feed, your subscribers will be able to link to a specially created web address to access your feed. Subscribers to your feed will paste a code on their own website which will display the headline and a few words (a description) of your article. The headline will act as a link back to your article (on your website). This is a direct benefit to you, both building in-bound links to your domain and pointing search engines to your website for fresh content.

    Business Marketing Strategy
The term business marketing strategy might sound like it is esoteric or stratospheric, so let’s take the mystery out of it so you can devise and implement your own business marketing strategy that fits in to your small business plan.Strategy comes from a Greek word “stratagein” meaning “to be a general”. Think of a strategy as an overall plan of action needed to win a war. The smaller, detailed actions are called tactics. You can have tactical plans which help you achieve your strategic marketing plan or overall business marketing strategy. That’s simple enough, isn’t it?A business marketing strategy or strategic marketing plan is an overall plan of marketing actions you intend to

Have you ever had a customer that seemed to reject nearly everything that you were presenting? We all have. Research on the customer's buying decisions has revealed that a customer's resistance may not be caused by what you present. It could be the sequence of your presentation. Our research has shown 76% of sales presentations are out of sync with buying decisions. When making a major purchase decision, your customer goes through a process of five sequential decisions.1. SALESPERSON. Customers decide if they like and can trust you.2. COMPANY. Opt-in Bulk Email List: How To Get 10,000 Names In A Flash
For those who find it very difficult to build up the numbers in their bulk email opt-in list, here is a method that I have found to be very effective.I usually make a lot of use of special reports in collecting bulk opt-in email addresses. They are the most effective way I know of getting people to opt in to n email list. The way I do my special reports is that I look for a really hot tip from my posts, something that I could easily get away with charging money for. I will then use it to prepare a special report. Many times I will combine various posts containing some really valuable information that will be of great help to folks out there. Of course it is important that you spend a

    Making an RSS Feed
RSS Feeds use a language similar to HTML called XML. You must be careful when using XML, not closing tags or failing to validate the code can cause problems. The RSS Feed includes information about your feed (Title of your article, short description, and a link back to your original article). Your audience will see this information instantly as you update your content. Think of the potential – thousands of websites displaying YOUR content to their visitors, and each of those visitors having the ability to get to your website with one click.

To create your RSS feed, simply copy the following code into your favorite text editor and edit a few fields. As you can see, the first part of the code (below the RSS version), is used to identify information about your website and company. The second half, beginning at , is used to identify information about your article.

YOUR TITLE HERE

YOUR DESCRIPTION HERE

YOUR ARTICLE TITLE HERE

YOUR ARTICLE DESCRIPTION HERE

Change YOUR TITLE HERE with the title of your RSS Feed. This can be anything; I would suggest using your brand, for example "Jacob Madison Marketing Solutions". Then, replace YOUR URL HERE with your main URL, for example, "http://www.jacobmadison.com". Once you have done this, replace YOUR DESCRIPTION HERE with the name of your feed. One example would be, "Internet marketing solutions".

Finally, replace YOUR ARTICLE TITLE HERE with your article title, YOUR ARTICLE URL HERE with the web location of your new article, and YOUR ARTICLE DESCRIPTION HERE with a quick summary of your content.

Save this file to your domain, for example,

HTTP = HTML link (for blogs, profiles, phorums):
    Creating an RSS Feed
