This doesn’t mean you can’t tell a fictional or illustrative story about yourself or even a product. Telling stories is great and is one of the best ways, if not the best way, to engage your readers. Just be sure your stories are represented as stories and not 100% fact.
Let your personality shine – We’ve all heard the saying that “there’s nothing new under the sun.” Don’t believe a word of it. It’s a falsehood, and a dangerous one at that.
You’ve seen things nobody else has seen, you think about things in a way that is completely and only YOU. Nobody else has your sense of humor, your sense of melancholy, your ability to write, your intelligence, your view on things. These are the things that people find interesting and are the things that will be greatly responsible for your word-of-mouth growth.
