The days of relying on one source of income are over.

No longer do we have the comfort and luxury that our parents did when it comes to income, job security, benefits, and loyalty. Its a totally different marketplace out there now.

My father worked at IBM for 27 years. The "plant" was just down the street from us where I grew up in San Jose, Ca. My father retired from IBM after 27 years of service. He is one of the only people that worked for the same company for so long. He retired with a pension, 401k, full benefits, stock options that he earned all those years. He also owned property so he did pretty well for himself...

My story is a little different. I have not held a job for more than 2 years. I have been an entreprenuer all of my life. I have earned a lot of money, but have never really had that security, loyalty, or benefit plan that my father had.

Things are very different now. With global competition, downsizing, the internet, and the reduction of salaries, we need to be more proactive than our parents ever were.

We have to go beyond just "getting involved" with a MLM or a HBB. We must make it successful. All too many people figure that just because they are "involved" with a business, that they are all taken care of...

What is social security going to be like in 25 years when I am ready to retire? What will the medicare system be like? What will my pension be from a company? I think my benefits from those things will be 0. Plus on top of that, our lifespans are getting longer and longer. We will probably live longer than our parents, with LESS resources? If you just "coast" with your HBB will it provide you with a life time income? Will they provide you health benefits?

I personally built a small Real Estate Office in San Diego. At one point we had sales of over 10,000,000. We had over 20 people that had gone through our training program.

Today... That business has been reduced down considerably. The market changed, and we suffered the consequences.

Thank God that I had developed several online and HBB opportunities. Not only had I just gotten involved, I actually built them to the point that if one of my sources of income failed, I would be able to rely on the others.

We all need to do the same thing. We need to get serious about this "Multiple Streams of Income" concept. We need to "dig in"
