Sales Managers Should Dump Their Weak Sales People
Sales are much different than other departments in a large corporation. You must make sales and if someone is not pulling their weight you need to dump them and replace them with a seasoned sales person who WILL make lots of sales. There is no room for political correctness. Just because a salesperson is a certain gender, nationality, religion, sexual preference, color or creed should not make any difference, all that counts are sales; lots of sal

I mean, someone that you hire can help you and be a sort of underwriter so to say, but you have to have an idea in your pretty or handsome little head on what exactly your accountability will be, correct? So, what is it that you simply would love to do with yourself? What is your dream, and what goals do you have? Do you have any micro-goals that can help yo

You Never Get A Second Chance To Make A First Impression
There is no easy way to define exactly what editors, publishers, PR managers, non-profit directors, advertising executives, and other industry professionals want from writers. There are no written guidelines, standard requirements, or official specifications that apply to writing jobs across the board... Every employer has special expectations and each writing position demands different skills. In an attempt to gather helpful hint
We’ve talked about blogging and though it’s not my only subject of which to converse, it is certainly a fun one. Many people are concerned, or, downright afraid of blogging. But the best way to face your fear is to face it.

    What are your blog fears?

First of all, what are you worried about? Are you concerned that you will simply humiliate yourself? Or perhaps give away Auntie Em’s secret blueberry pie recipe by mistake and be ostracized by your family and friends forevermore? Or are you simply not that computer literate?

What ever the case, I have some really nurturing advice my mother would have told me, rest her soul… “Buck up”. Yes. I am not going to deal with your “wah wah” attitude at all. You need to realize that you need a blog, not just “want” a blog but need a blog. If you can’t deal with figuring out which keys on the keyboard to hit, and which way to write and which way to market and which way to get people to even care that you have a blog; well then you better start looking for someone who isn’t a like you; ie, a professional.

This does not mean your nephew because he knows “how” to blog. You need someone who is truly a professional who can market you and you can put your trust in their hands.

Secondly, consider getting a blog that has a point. Too many times, a blog has no purpose. If you just want to talk, well that is great and I bet you can still make money with ads and such, but it’s so much better to have a clue, you know? Have an idea, have a business in mind to help yourself.

Copy That Convinces, Copy That Sells
One of my marketing students asked if good copy had to be grammatically correct. To me, what makes good copy is much like what makes good art. Basically it comes down to the eye of the beholder. I know my English teacher is rolling over. Bless his heart.Truthfully, you have to be able to communicate with your audience. And to do that, you must first get their attention. Just how much attention does subtlety get? And for those of us with sh

    Sales for Aircraft Cleaning Companies
When selling aircraft cleaning services it is important to build relationships at the airport. It is not always easy to develop leads of customers to call upon. One of your main ways to get into corporate aircraft cleaning is to meet all the chief pilots and let them open the door for you to introducing you to the decision maker who will then give you the contract to clean the Jets. When selling aircraft cleaning services you must know you

Do you have any micro-goals that can help you get off your backside and really take that chance and start a business?

The longer you sit and hem and haw, the more someone else is probably taking ideas that could have been yours, customers that could have been yours and money that could be yours. In fact, the other readers of this are practically stealing from you! Don’t stand by and be a victim!

Another thing you can do is try to blog a bit and simply do NOT let anyone know. Practice practice practice. If you tell no one, you will be in private. It isn’t a risk really, or a throw of the dice; but a smooth business move that you should seriously think about perfecting, thinking through and getting over that darn Blogophobia.

Do not be annoying. Be real. If you want to sell something, you want to be real. Don’t try to be someone you are not-because nothing is more annoying than falsehood.

If you feel like your Blogaphobia is going away, good. Maybe you are seeing that there is nothing to fear. Just have a passion and a dream, have goals, own up if you need to hire someone to help you get your goals and dreams to fruition, and most importantly, be real. If you hire someone, do NOT try to pretend you are more confident than you are. The professional really usually knows you have some key fears, and you need to have an open communication to have a true business partnership.

Stand up. It’s like any other meeting. Now. I mean it. Stand up. Or at least sit straight.
