One Bad AppleThis thought is on every bloggers mind including my own. Most if not all well-known bloggers suggest that if you want to be successful make a single-topic oriented blog; While I also think that statement is true, I don't support it entirely.

If you visit many popular blogs you’ll see that they are mostly to entirely focused on their topic of choice, but you will also notice that they don’t rely solely on their niche (there are exceptions of course). While I do recommend choosing a single niche for your blog, I also suggest that every once in a while It’s good write about something somewhat-related, not falling into your everyday topic but not getting too distant either. (For example, If you talk about tv’s it wouldn’t hurt to review a dvd player to go along with that tv would it ?).

Choosing your niche is the most important part of your blog, think of something you will still like in future's time. Blog about your passion might be a cliche but It's the truth. Learn to blog about something and from time to time disconnect from your topic and post something related.
