Lead Companies, Eight Features To Consider t" demographic for Internet Marketing success
was that 98% of people online were idiots. But it's thSo now the time has come to invest in Lead companies, but how do you know which one is the right one for you? When I was a new loan officer, finding a lead company was not easy, I can remember logging onto Yahoo, typing in the key word “mortgage leads” and being bombarded with links leading me in the direction of lead companies all claiming to have the best leads and the best deal for me!But what was the best deal for me? That all depended on what I was looking for, so taking my time, I began to right down exactly what it was I was looking for, did I want refi’s, purchases, or both. Did I want leads from several states or just one, how much could I afford? Etc., etc. Before I invested any money, I decided I was really going to do my home work, I went to sites of the companies I was considering to read their terms and conditions, I spoke with reps in their customer service department and asked many questions, I went to lead site reviews posted on the web to see what kind of experience other loan officers had with the companies I was considering. One thing to keep in mind, No lead company can guarantee you a 100% closure ratio, and they are very up front about that, if that is what you are looking for, you can end your search now.Still with me? Good! Here are a few things to consider before committing1) PricingIf you are on a tight budget, and h This Week's True Business Story: Excuses I have really enjoyed helping other entrepreneurs, and I
will continue to teach people how to succeed online -- which

You ignored all the red flags.” My friend Errol was right; I had wasted three weeks pursuing a client who never intended to do business with me. Instead of telling me outright that he didn’t want to buy our services, this prospect made every excuse under the sun to avoid meetings and commitments. He showed up late, didn’t return calls and played the Gutless Game, as I call it. That’s the game played by people who don’t have the guts to say, “No.”We should realize that we don’t need any particular customer or client. When you appear desperate, you simply hand them a stick to beat you with. When you excuse and ignore their lack of commitment and professionalism, you downgrade the value that you’re offering. Be very selective, set a high standard and don’t beg for business. You’re sorting and selecting which customers and vendors you choose to do business with. You’re in command. There’s only one of you and many of them. There is usually no excuse for showing up late, not returning calls or not doing what you say you will do, when you say you will do it. When you see that kind of behavior, you’re seeing the red flag. I once asked a “Serial Excusiologist” this question: “If I had a million Dollar Check waiting here for you, would you be late for the appointment?” You don’t have to accept abuse and insults. You don’t have to dis Here are a few things that I recently shared in my first ever formal seminar presentation: 1. All of your marketing online must be designed for IDIOTS. A lot of people laughed when I showed them a slide saying how the "secret" demographic for Internet Marketing success was that 98% of people online were idiots. But it's th Work as a Symphony d online -- which
is why I started MarketingSecrets.com.Have you ever seen an orchestra producing some truly amazing and inspiring music. I remember seeing an orchestra playing at the Sydney Opera House (and for all the overseas people it is something you must do whilst in Australia). I was so impressed with the way all the different instrumental groups blended together to make this magical sound. The conductor’s role was very important in keeping all the sections on task and in time. However, all the groups must be able to work together (compliment each other) to produce beautiful harmonics. In a good orchestra, the wind instruments are not in conflict with the brass or percussion instruments. They all have a job to do, and they must be able to complete their task as well as support all the other musical sections in the process.Great workplaces are like a wonderful orchestra. Yes there needs to be a good leader conducting proceedings, but there has to be synergy between all the other sections of the business. Just like in an orchestra, each section has a job to do and they must be able to connect with the other section’s success. An orchestra would sound terrible if the brass section decided that their section was more important than the other sections and played loudly to drown out the other sections.Remember every organisation is a sum of its parts. Therefore, if the parts are not working together, then organizational effectiv Here are a few things that I recently shared in my first ever formal seminar presentation: 1. But it's th Does Your Culture Support or Sabotage Your Strategy? shared in my first
ever formal seminar presentation:“An organization’s capacity to execute its strategy depends on its “hard” infrastructure--its organization structure and systems--and on its “soft” infrastructure--its culture and norms.” Amar Bhide (Harvard and Columbia)Is your organisation one which invests a considerable amount of time and effort (and, therefore, cost) in looking to the future and creating a strategy and strategic plan? I hope so! However, what happens if the plan is not successful and the objectives not achieved? Is the blame put on to the market, the competition, the planners, the staff, or even the plan? The problem may be something more fundamental – the culture is not right for the strategic direction! There are a number of variations about what is a strategy and what is involved in identifying and creating a strategy. The definition below is one which covers most of the key elements.“An effective strategy is an integrated array of distinctive choices about which markets a company serves, what unique value proposition it offers to the customers, and how it arranges its functions to deliver that value.” Prof Jan RivkinIn creating a strategic intent, Michael Porter suggests asking 3 questions:What is the business doing? What is happening in the environment? What should the business be doing? For many years, when working with organisations in 1. All of your marketing online must be designed for IDIOTS. A lot of people laughed when I showed them a slide saying how the "secret" demographic for Internet Marketing success was that 98% of people online were idiots. But it's th Imagery & Affirmations - Your Brain - How It Functions! designed for
IDIOTS.The second mechanism in your neuro-anatomy for you to know about that you will be activating through your emotionalized images and affirmations is:YOUR PSYCHO-CYBERNETIC MECHANISM which functions automatically like a THERMOSTATIC CONTROL at the subconscious level.Revealing brain scans of your Psycho-Cybernetic control mechanism monitored activity showing various “neural thermostats” that keep you operating within certain established set points of behavior. These act like self imposed limitations. When moving outside these established limits of comfort these brain scans showed that your neural thermostat releases neuro-chemicals that impede your moving outside your comfort zone. This happens at the automatic, subconscious levels of mind. You can and must change these control settings to create new more productive behaviors. What this means is that any deviation you make from an old belief or habit will automatically send an alert signal, creating a sense of stress and tension to stop the new, unfamiliar behavior. This mechanism will keep you achieving at the same level and repeating the same constructive or destructive behavioral patterns because they are familiar.Your Psycho-Cybernetic control mechanism also automatically filters out any unfamiliar energy frequencies that would cause you to feel uncomfortable. In the First Things First - Founda A lot of people laughed when I showed them a slide saying how the "secret" demographic for Internet Marketing success was that 98% of people online were idiots. was that 98% of people online were idiots. But it's the truth.Let me tell you about a scrapbook store near my home. It opened about 4 years ago with a BANG! It had a BEAUTIFUL interior - very "Melissa Francis". They got hold of a mailing list of scrapbookers and sent postcards out to scrappers all over the state. My friend who lives 80 miles from this store got one. So far - so good. But, that's where it ended and they closed when their lease ended 3 years later.I had predicted its death shortly after its opening. It was beautiful as I said, however, 12 months later, I could pretty much tell you everything that was in the store. What was there in the beginning was pretty much what was there when it closed. And, they had a little of everything that made up a whole lotta nothing. I called it the "Scrapbook 7-11". If I needed cardstock or stickers for a card, I went there. But, if I wanted specific themed products for a coordinated page, I headed to the other bigger store that had purchased products deeper into lines and had a bigger selection of coordinated products. But, I digress. These were just symptoms of a problem. The biggest problem was that they were living in a world that was best summed up by Will Rogers when he said, "Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." They WERE on the right track, but they didn't move and eventually, they got run over.Problem one - they had a LARGE sign on their st In order to achive maximum RESULTS you must design your marketing so a complete idiot will know EXACTLY what you want them to do. Don't create pages with a bunch of OPTIONS for people to take. Give people 1 or 2 options. Period. The more options, links, buttons, etc. you give people, the more likely you are to not have prospects take the desired actions you want them to take
