Now you simply email the website owner and see if they would post a banner or text link. You explain how much of each sale they get with effectively no work on their part. You’d be surprised how many are happy to help out, and line their pockets a little in the process. You provide the banner, they provide the traffic.

    For other product vendors, it often is a ‘you scratch my back now, and I’ll scratch yours later’ kind of thing, so choose your vendors carefully as you’ll be promoting their products down the line and you don’t want to damage your reputation with the list you’ll be building.

    The main thing is to get some emails sent out every day. What’s the worst that could happen? They say ‘no.’ Big deal, there’s a lot more people to hit up, and more coming in every day.
