We visited a few beaches, they all seemed similar with their golden sand, clear water, not too crowded, but our favourite was Paraskevi beach as it was a stone's throw from the hotel. Early evening we would sit on our balcony drinking a glass of wine whilst taking in the breathtaking views. Locally, there were lots of places to eat and drink, a few supermarkets and some even sold foreign newspapers and magazines.

At the end of every night we always had a nightcap in the hotel bar. The weather was very good for the time of year we visited, so the locals kept telling us. Even the evenings seemed warm to us compared to back home.

Overall, we really enjoyed our t
