The Red Herring that is Google Pagerank
Google likes to offer all kinds of neat little tips and clues regarding how it views sites. Google PageRank is one such tool, but with questionable value.Google is a highly secretive beast. If you are trying to optimize your site to obtain high rankings, Google will provide you with little or no information. It even fails to show all of the links it is counting to your site, a negative step that no other engine takes. What Google does provide, however, is the Google PageRank for sites. In my opinion, Google PageRank is a bit of red herring. I don’t believe it te

Let’s overthrow the tyranny of disease and premature aging ourselves by taking responsibility for our own health and wellness, especially in our daily decisions and actions.

Reclaim your God-given opportunity to live not just to ages 75 to 85, but up to 120.

As you live to 120, you’re a youth up to age 60; middle aged from 61-90; and a senior citizen from ages 91-120.

My youthful friend, dynamic businessman George Gillespie, in his mid to late 70’s, says “the best way to stay young is not to hang around old people.”

Let's add this: prevent becoming an old person prematurely yourself by living right, thereby staying younger longer.

You may not live as long as Methusela, but you can celebrate your 120th birthday in good health at your local gym, first exercising v

Can You Recognize An Operatic Voice?
Does your son or daughter have a voice that is good enough for the opera house? But before you answer that question, ask yourself another. Can you recognize an operatic voice before it has been trained? There is little doubt the world of opera is an exciting place. It can bring fame and fortune to those who are good enough if they are prepared to work very hard for many years and then get the lucky breaks.Like any other exacting profession opera singing is an art of discipline, even for the most gifted singer. Not only must the voice be properly trained, b
Methusela lived a mere 969 years. Adam lived 930 and Seth made it to 912.

Noah lived 950 years, including 350 years after the flood. Noah first became a father at age 502—no Viagra needed.

Lest you think that the Bible is the only source claiming 1,000 year lifespans in times past, think again.

Some cultures not mentioned in the Bible claimed that their kings lived about 1,000 years before the flood, corroborating the Bible.

These cultures, Akkadian and Sumerian, were in the Mespotamian-Assyrian region. Both cultures had highly developed languages.

The Bible provides information showing that the average lifespan before the flood was 912 years. After the flood, the average lifespan dropped to 222 years.

Why? Genesis 6:3 explains it this way, God’s “Spirit will not always strive with man,” a reference to the evil in the world. God said, man’s days now “would be numbered 120 years.”

God made a huge reduction—from nearly 1,000 years to only 120.

Now if any doubters are troubled by Genesis 6:3, consider this—secular scientists measuring cell division, including Leonard Hayflict, asserted that our body’s cells are capable of dividing 50 times, then they die.

And guess what, that limits longevity to about 120 years, too. Science and Scripture seem to agree on the 120 year life span.

Let’s fast forward to 2006, asking this question, “if we Americans can live to 120, then why don’t we?”

    1. Longevity inversely correlates to obesity. Huge numbers of Americans, including children, are obese (20% over normal weight) or morbidly obese (40% over normal weight).

    2. Unlike our ancestors who ate real food, Americans eat devitalized, chemicalized, nutritionally dead, factory fresh “foods,” packaged in cans and boxes, embalmed with preservatives, laced with additives, and heavy laden with high fructose corn syrup and other fake but toxic sweeteners.

    3. 80%+ Americans have become violently allergic to exercise—unlike our ancestors, who were physically active.

    4. America’s system of allopathic (conventional medicine) overuses dangerous synthetic drugs (a pill for every ill, real or imaginary) and performs many unneeded operations. Conventional medicine doesn’t cure diseases, just manages and minimizes them expensively.

We spend more per capita on “health care” than any other nation, but our average longevity is 47th in the world—a pathetic return on that massive investment.

Remembering Independence Day, let’s resolve to take actions as they did at the Boston Tea party. They dumped King George’s overtaxed tea into Boston Harbor.

Here in the 21st Century, let’s take action and liberate ourselves from the bondage of Big Pharma and its nasty and expensive drugs by refusing to use them when indiscriminately or thoughtlessly prescribed.

“Just say no,” as former First Lady Nancy Reagan advised about illegal drugs. That’s great advice for most legal drugs, too.

Let’s use natural medicines and supplements and good food instead of drugs and surgery when possible.

Let’s liberate ourselves from agribusiness and chemical corporations and retailers not selling organic and natural foods in their stores.

Let’s liberate ourselves from pill-pushing doctors. “Just say no” if a doctor can not explain why you need a prescription. If he or she is not persuasive, "just say no."

Doctors are paid consultants. If you don’t like their advice, fire them, switch to another doctor.

Are There Any Benefits of Online Courses?
In 2006, more than 3.2 million U.S. college and university students enrolled in at least one online course, an increase of 850,000 from the year before. For the last several years, enrollment in distance learning education has been increasing at a phenomenal rate each year, and there appears to be no let up in sight. With interest in distance learning education at an all-time high, one might wonder just what all the fuss is about. Are there any significant benefits of online courses and if so, what are they? To answer that question, here is a short list of benefits that are

Learn To Trade The Forex - How Long?
If you have been looking for a way to learn to trade the Forex, you have no doubt seen courses and educational materials suggesting you can turn a small investment of a few hundred dollars into $XX,000 in just so many months or within 1 or 2 years. While theoretically the figures add up, especially when the power of compounding kicks in, can a newcomer to the Forex market really learn to trade the Forex in a short period of time and expect that kind of huge return on investment?Honest answer: It is extremely unlikely! This is not to say it is not possible

Blended Learning - Old Wine In A New Bottle
Before starting to define the concept of blended learning, its important to know the most unobtrusive fact about the concept - that it has been around in disguise for eons and its immortality is undisputable. Simply put, unblended learning is something unimaginable. Learning has always involved blending of different methods and only the uninitiated can think of a learning environment where a computer can carry out all the aspects of training without the assistance from other media. Though this term found entry into the e learning jargon only lately, we have been using blende
