    Many great people began life in the poorest and most humble of homes, with little education and no advantages. Andres Bonifacio, a great Filipino Hero orphaned at the age of 10, educated himself by through private reading of the books borrowed from good friends and later on became a founder of the great Katipunan. Blas Ople, my most admired man, worked as a janitor and afterwards became a Senate President of the Republic of the Philippines.

    Napoleon Hill, a poor boy and a deficient in education had the ambition to be a writer but his good friends assured him his ambition was impossible but finally became a great writer and the author of the very famous inspirational classical book “Think and Grow Rich” that until now, it is one of the best seller in the Philippines. Hellen Keller was deprived of sight, hearing, and the ability to speak before the age of two and later on became the author of several articles, books, and biographies.

    What gave these great individuals the stamina to overcome severe setbacks and become successful? Dr. John Maxwell gave good explanation regarding of this query.
