This is why we find it hard to write creatively with marketing. As we've been taught to use our right brain, we've naturally learnt how to analyze everything. As a result we're stuck in what I call Binary or Logic Thinking. We think things are either right, or they are wrong and there is nothing in between. So we think the same about our creative writing, its either good or its bad and nothing in between. But where is the learning and development when things either have to be either right or wrong? If you have a thought about what to say when you start to think about your marketing, type it up immediately - before your left brain kicks in and says, that's not good. Your left brain and right brain can't compete. Your left brain will win every time. The only way to write is to put your left brain on hold. Write without a thought in your mind. Let it just come out, don't think about it, just keep writing, don't analyze, don't criticize, just write. Before you know it you will have hundreds of words on your page.
