    Big fish Recruitment have announced that a record number of marketing profesionals from major brands in the Midlands attended the exclusive MarketingBites ‘Branding’ seminar on Friday 9th March at the Fort Dunlop Building in Birmingham.

    Over 80 organisations registered their senior marketing professionals to attend the event, including – BT, Alliance & Leicester, Avery Weigh-Tronix, Betterware UK, Mitchells & Butlers, Care Knight, United Refrigeration, Royal Doulton and Heart FM.

    The event had the support from some of the industry’s key players with sponsors and exhibitors including large independent advertising agency, Rees Bradley Hepburn, leading Midland’s print group, Folium, online marketing specialists, Miromedia, and specialist marketing magazine, The Drum.

    Talking about the success of the event, Nicola Kleinmann, Managing Director of Big fish Recruitment, said “We used the feedback from our extremely successful ‘creativity’ event in September last year to establish an exciting new seminar on ‘branding’ that would provide delegates with a range of proven ideas and inspiring tips for building their corporate and personal brand. The end result was a stimulating event that was a perfect opportunity for marketing professionals to find out what’s new and to be inspired”.

    MarketingBites was held at the Fort Dunlop Building - one of Birmingham's most famous landmarks - and the event also included a guided tour to see how award-winning property developer Urban Splash has breathed life back into this renowned building.
