The Procedure

A short rest usually follows the surgery but in most cases, patients are sent straight home to rest. Recovery usually takes a little more than a week. Some minor complications may develop but these are usually attended to during your first visit back, probably within 24 hours. These could be slight abrasion, migration of the flap or inflammation.
