Stop Blowing Money on Ads and Start Promoting Your Products
Sales Promotions are Better Than Advertising... Sales promotion is an advertising channel that is directed at boosting short term sales through coupons, discounts, contests, rebates, free samples, incentives, cross-product promotions, and point-of-purchase displays. These promotions involve every level of the sales channel – distributors, retailers, sales people, and consumers. In most cases, sales promotions are better at reaching consumers with direct contact than traditional advertising channels are. Sales promotions also can have a more meaningful impact on customers. For example, free samples and point-of-purchase displays will often be accompanied by a store manager or employee who can explain the product and provide further information. You can’t sample a TV commercial or get more information without going to the store or getting on the internet.... for Four ReasonsAdvertising Fragmentation – When you advertise your products, you can run

Shipping Boxes For Your Packaging Needs
One needs to appropriately pack the goods with the right shipping boxes. There are lots to choose from, and you can either purchase this from the shipping company that will ship the goods for you, or you can purchase this from other stores. You can try checking out the Internet for such retailers, as there are now many who have online stores where you can order online – this would make your purchasing a lot easier. You can check www.uline.com for a list of their products. The question asked by executives and managers – “How can I motivate my employees?” – is sometimes difficult to answer. Since each employee is motivated by a variety of difficult incentives, you need to find out what is of value for each person. Research shows that people often leave an employer because they haven't received the recognition they want, or feedback on how they are doing. With this in mind, designing a positive, employee-driven motivation program works with some of your employees, but then what do you do for the others?

Leaders continue to look for ways to boost morale. Many organizations feel that if you want innovative and unique ways to boost your employee’s morale, just ask them. Of course, employees may not want to tell employers face-to-face what they want and what they are thinking. So the employer can conduct an anonymous “morale audit,” giving employees a survey to fill out. This is only one method.

Since many employers don’t have the time to write the specific questions and survey their employees, don’t know what specific questions to ask, or don’t want to take the time to write, conduct, and evaluate a survey, here are seven ways I believe you can more easily boost your employees’ morale:

Franchising the Nations of the World; Who Will Build It?
Recently a few scholars have been talking about franchising the world and luckily I am the one who is brought to their attention. They ask the obvious question, which has been asked before of major projects; if we franchise the nations of the world then who will build the franchise system and who will help the franchisees of the Third World countries who sign-up to become first world nations? There will be lots of infrastructure to build so the civilization will succeed as a franchisee of the world franchise system.Well, last time I checked industrialized nations did not have a shortage of large corporations or businesses who were interested in building stuff. For instance; The Military Industrial Complex does not care what it builds? Nuclear power plants, levees in New Orleans, a bridge in Peru, a high-speed train in Argentina, a dam in Egypt. Or the same companies could just keep building rockets for space or ships, bombs and planes to protect the System. The bigger the system the more to protect and the more

5 Ways Customer Service Managers are Implementing to Increase Customer Focus
According to a Forum Corporation survey of commercial customers lost by 14 major service and manufacturing companies:15% found a better service/product15% found a cheaper service/product20% cited “lack of contact and individual attention from the company”50% said; “contact from old suppliers” personnel was poor in quality”These days, it seems that everyone from dog walkers to dotcoms is making “customer service” their mission. Department, discount and convenience stores have all transformed the workers who used to be known as “sales clerks” into “customer service associates”- in theory at least. A recent survey of large corporation CEOs revealed that 67% had customer service earmarked as their top priority. Here are the 5 ways successful managers should implement to increase customer focus.1. Targeted recruiting and hiring. Today’s managers are faced with the challenge of recruiting and hiring people who value customers. The concern far exceeds hiring the right talent; it i

    CPA Firms
CPA is short for Certified Public Accountant. There are many CPA firms that are some of the most reputed and well-established companies in America. A CPA firm performs many functions and has many specialties including auditing and attestation, accounting systems, taxation, business valuation, management consulting, forensic accounting, information systems consulting and information systems auditing. This is why they are so important to successful businesses and entrepreneurs. These businesses and individuals count of a CPA firm to keep them financially on track and ahead of the game.Successful CPA firms are always on the lookout for the right people for the right job. Usually partners in a CPA firm are highly skilled, well educated individuals who play key roles in the successful growth of their company. To keep their skills honed, many firms require that their staff stay continuously informed by attending courses on a regular basis.CPA firms must have established standards, procedures and policies rele

Can You Hear Me Now? Is You Phone Killing Your Business?
This is a really cranky article, but someone has to write it!Why do business owners continue to invest in automated phone mazes when we all know everyone hates them? Mom and Pop or multi-billion dollar company, growth is dependant on customer satisfaction. (…unless you have a monopoly)It is beyond belief that as many times as we all have hung up on automated phone service, that business owners still think it is better to have a machine answer questions than to have a live, friendly, intelligent human being answer the phone who can quickly take care of a clients needs on an individual basis.Haven't these business owners had to deal with voice mail hell? Don't they hang up in frustration when they hear "Press 1 for English press 2 for Spanish, Press 3 for locations, press 4 for business hours, press 5 for our web address, press 6 for payment locations, press 7 to leave a message, press 8 to return to the main menu press 9 to speak to an operator." Then when 9 is pressed you hear "All agents are curren

    1. Get Your Employees Involved: Typically, your employees want to get involved in their jobs and be part of the success and progress of the company for which they work. Asking your employees to set their own job goals, as well as having them suggest more efficient ways to do their jobs, is an excellent way to find out how they can manage their own jobs.

With this in mind, you may want to consider forming an Employee Advisory Group within your organization. This group would include both employees and managers, and also someone from the executive staff to oversee and report back to the company executives. This is where employees can express their thoughts and feelings, and also talk about ideas of the work they do and how to better and more efficiently get things done. Through this group, employees can feel that they are making a contribution to the company decisions, especially when they see their suggestions implemented by the company.

    2. Communication:
