Good Time to Apply for Pharmaceutical Rep Jobs?
I was asked the other day an interesting question regarding whether it is presently a good time to apply for pharmaceutical rep jobs. Has the industry reached a peak? Is it in a slump or in between? Well, the answer is it depends on the company. Each pharmaceutical company goes through cycles where there seems to be growth in sales force numbers at times and then there are low periods where hiring freezes and even layoffs could occur. These

The Benefits of Shrink Wrap Machines
Industrial shrink wrap protects and groups products during shipment. The shrink wrap film is plastic and, when heated, it shrinks and conforms to the products’ shapes to protect them from dirt, moisture, and damage in transport. Different types of shrink wrap film as well as different types of shrink wrap machines are available for the different needs of companies that use shrink wrap.Smaller, portable machines are used by artists to
I recently read a compelling article in USA Today in which the CEO of a major company stated that he felt that the real character of a person was reflected in how they treated the waiter in a restaurant. Being a customer service advocate as well as a believer in the Law of Attraction (what you give tends to be what you get), I found this theory very interesting…and true.

As we all have, I have observed all types of treatment of wait staff personnel by family, friends, colleagues, and clients with whom I have dined. I don’t recall if I have ever associated this treatment with character, but in retrospect, I agree with the theory.

During the “On Topic” segment of my radio show recently, I raised this question for discussion. I interviewed the general manager of one of Memphis’ finest restaurants and he agreed quickly that you can indeed tell much about a person’s character by their treatment of waiters and waitresses. Business Ethics: How The Sales Function Can Transmit Company Values
I recently got a "thank-you" call from a man who read my new e-book Buying Facilitation."Boy," he said, "this method sure helps me close more deals and make more money. Thanks!""Glad I could help. Is that all you're looking for? To make more money?""What do you mean…all? What else is there? Sales is about closing deals and making money, right?""I'm surprised you didn't notice the value of becoming a trusted adviso

Promotional Keyrings - Your Key to Business
People constantly come into your office and you are always sending out mail to new, potential clients. Did you know that most people will throw away an envelope that looks as if it’s direct mail but will open an envelope or package, especially if it feels like there is something inside of it?The low cost of promotional items like keyrings is indispensable. Everyone has keys and most people carry one or two gadget keyrings with their k

Creating An Impact In The Executive Job Search Market
The majority of executive job seekers prefer to undertake their campaigns as efficiently as possible: find a prospective employee, prepare and send a resume, wait for a response. Many, however, lose time and opportunities needlessly or, worse, settle for lower job offers because they have not promoted themselves in an effective manner. The following approach can help you create an impact in the job market – and help make your executiv

Customer Recovery First, System Recovery Second!
I was staying at a dive resort in Papua New Guinea recently. It was quite pleasant, with friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and good food.I enjoyed a night dive with hungry starfish, scurrying crabs and parrot fish asleep amidst the coral. After the dive, however, I realized someone had slipped into my cabin and scurried off with a pair of pants and a matching canvas belt.I did not sleep well and next morning reported th

He also mentioned how surprised and in some cases disappointed he was by the treatment of staff by some well known Memphians in his restaurant. Additionally, he added that this poor treatment of staff can often result in poor treatment back from staff including examples of waiters and waitresses even refusing to serve certain individuals.

With this information in mind, I thought that I would offer some ways to treat your wait staff on your next restaurant visit to insure TERRIBLE customer service. You’ve seen each of these methods in action before, but here are some tips to make sure your next experience is bad.

    1) Don’t pay attention when your waiter comes by to introduce himself and tell you about the specials. This will let your waiter know quickly that you think you are better than them and
