When we show our gratitude, we are also showing our respect and admiration towards the person with whom we share our lives. Soon, we noticed that, just like that, our relationships have improved and there is more love and understand to go around.

My American ex-husband had many faults, in my point of view, of course. However, he was very generous in showing his appreciation. Every evening, he would thank me for preparing dinner. This is one of the few good memories I have of my marriage and I never forgot it. How difficult is it to show appreciation and gratitude for the small things that people do for us?
