Here we sit, derriere molded to its favorite bunker, out of harm’s way, with the television doing it’s damndest to pry our conscience out of its liberal or conservative points of views. I was listening to Sean Hannity’s radio program the other day and he asked people on the street to identify photographs of prominent politicians and Hollywood celebrities. I was amazed at what I heard! Most could not identify Nancy Pelosi, some said she looked familiar but didn’t know who she was or what she does. None could name Condoleezza Rice or peg her as the United States Secretary of State. Everyone knew Brittany Spears! Some could not name the Vice President of the United States but knew all about Rosie O’Donnell.

What a sad state of affairs! I know most people have grown to nearly detest politics, and who can blame them? But, when it comes to our individual destiny and the destiny of our children is it O’Donnell that will make decisions that can literally put our way of life in jeopardy? I can only hope that those decisions will be made in a less flamboyant manner.
