I remember when I was in school and we used to imagine one day having all of the technology we saw on the cartoon show called "The Jetsons" and making video calls and having flying cars was going to be awesome. Become a Credible Communicator: Make Honesty Your Policy!
When you speak, do people listen? You don't have to be E.F. Hutton to command attention and respect in the workplace. But you do have to be credible. Credibility in the workplace means believability. Simply put, do people believe what you say? Is your reputation based on a track record of telling the truth?
    "I can do what...?"

That was the initial response from my 60 plus year old mother after receiving a Video Email from me. Over my adult life my mother and I have spoken on the phone countless numbers of times. You see I am not your typical son in that fail to call mom a couple of times a week, I tried that in the past and was accosted by her with a phone message stating: You don't call and check on an old lady from time to time...you know I getting older over here and it sure would be nice if my son picked up the phone and just checked on me from time to time..." You get a few of those and you remember to call mom!

Well after watching my email message mom sent me a return email telling me a story of her youth and how they used to talk about the "future" and how being able to talk to people far away with ease and that one day you would be able to see the person you are talking to. She said to me that she never thought that she would see the day that you could not only email but send a video with the email. Well I did mom one better and did a live web broadcast of a training I was doing in Pocatello, Idaho using my site I was not only able to broadcast to mom and others around the world I was getting paid to do so.

After the live broadcast mom was on the floor because not only could she talk to her son, she could also see me and communicate with me no matter where I was on the planet. Long gone mom are those days of calling me and asking: "Where are you this week?" I can show you the hotel; the city and any of the tourist sites of each of the cities I am in...LIVE!
