What Makes a Realtor a Realtor
"Now that you all passed the Pre-licencing Course, let me make one thing perfectly clear ....". Jeremy Levers had been already one of the top Realtors in British Columbia for over twenty-five years by the time I first met him in October,1987. A sturdy man in his mid-fifties with a thick, fascinating English accent, he was there in the Auditorium of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver to teach one of the twelve Post-licensing classes mandatory to complete licensing. Whereas the purpose of the Pre-licensing Course had been to give us the basics of Real Estate and Contract Law, Mortgaging, Agency and Appraisal the Post-licensing Course was designed for the practical applications of them all - life on the street, it might have been called. "There are Realtors and there are Good Realtors: a Good Real

    Nobody Likes A Rambler
We all know people who ramble. They include every boring and insignificant detail, speak in five-minute-long sentences and take forever to get to the point. When they finally reach the end of their story, most people have either walked away or lost interest. If you were reading their words, would you read right to the end? Or would you find something more informative, less boring and shorter to read?We all have a tendency to ramble. It's natural. And the more excited we are about a subject, the more likely we are to ramble.Unfortunately, if we ramble in writing, our readers may not get to the "good stuff." And if that "good stuff" is your website, your byline or a product you wish to promote, your rambling has just cost you money. Now, I certainly don't want to curb your excite
I’ve recently been thinking about where video games could be going in the future. I’m hoping to work in the game industry one day after I’ve finished university study and I’ve been wondering about it a lot. What do I want to see happen in the future? Well I may not have too many answers right now, but I have come up with a few ideas that I think may come into ‘play’ in the not too distant future.

Firstly forget Virtual Reality, as we know it. They’ve tried VR goggles and they made a lot of people sick in doing so. It’s probably never going to work very well in its current form. They’re still around and you can still buy them but they really don’t seem to be taking off. It will probably take a lot to get people totally immersed and involved in a new form of game play. 5 Excellent Ways To Call Leads
One way to improve the prospects of your business is by calling qualified warm leads. To some people it is the most productive method for your business’s growth. The following 5 ways if implemented can bring you success in your MLM business.1)”Quiet times” are the best time for you to call the leadsIt is seen that some think that summer is a worst time to call the leads. They don’t really have a good reason not to make any calls at that time. Another fraction of people believe that summer isn’t a slow period, so they call their leads at that time. This simple difference of thinking makes a vast difference in the prospects of the business.Treat this business as any other business. Have you given a thought what would have happened to a regular business if the proprietor had gone into hibern

Analog Salespeople Must Automate to Digital Sales
The technology driven salesperson has the opportunity to benefit from automating sales using technology and embracing new sales tools. If you have made the switch to using digital technology and using technology tools, congratulations. There is a wide spectrum of sales tools beginning with the cell phone, blackberry, pocket PCs and computer programs that automate routine sales tasks. We don’t have to look far to see where technology is taking a new generation of salespeople. When I first began my career there were only three ways to communicate with customers. At that time, I am sure that there were salespeople who were only accustomed to using only two methods. Think back with me and trace the extinction of these salespeople. These salespeople only used face to face meetings and letters. I can not thin

Paying Attention And Following Directions: Have You Learned Your Lesson?
Pay attention. Follow directions. Do these phrases sound familiar? They should, from day one these two phrases are repeated to us over and over again. Parents, teachers, coaches, you are bombarded by these phrases in all facets of your life. With all of this reinforcement, you would assume the last thing we would do is forget them. Explain this to me then: How is it that when we get to the corporate world we seem to scrap these lessons all together?I want you to take a minute and count the number of times that you’ve sent out an email providing specific directions for a task, only to have three-fourths of the people disregard at least part of your directions. Does this number surprise you? When you stop and think about it, this happens a lot. This problem is not only confined to email (althou

Is This Better Than Site Sell's: Site Build It Software
As Web 2.0 becomes less of just a buzzword and more of a reality, the types of sites webmasters need to publish will increasingly become more important. In other words, mini-sites are slowly dying and cookie-cutter article sites are on the way out as well. Web surfers will become more value-focused and web companies will become larger.Over the next few years expect larger conglomerates to be buying up profitable websites in their chosen markets. Expect smaller sites to either be bought or driven out of business. My intention is not to scare you, but this outcome is inevitable.Large businesses have always taken two approaches to their desired markets. They either buy their competition or they push them out of business. You want to be prepared when this trend begins on the Internet.Being

It’s threatening to lose touch with the outside world and the people around you aren’t going to appreciate it much either. The Sci-fi neural implants are also both a long way off and not likely to be accepted by a majority of the general populace without some severe marketing and luck. I for one am not planning on going through brain surgery just to have a computer attached to my head. In fact I never want anyone to able to plug into my brain.
