Affiliate Marketing Basic Skill No 2 - Affiliate Autoresponder
As I have mentioned in the basic skill no 1 article on the importance of the business basic, the next basic skill that you will need to have is to have your own Autoresponder account. This can be the most important part of your whole affiliate marketing model if you really want to have a long term business.Autoresponder can be simply defined as a computer program or software that will enable you to collect customer data and send email immediately to the customer after they opt in. You will be able to follow up with them automatically by loading messages at a preset time interval to the Autoresponder. What's important here is that you will be using the Autoresponder software to build your own list.Nothing is more critical to your affiliate marketing business than building your own list. The cruel fact is that if you do not own a list, you will not have a long term business and you will not be able to survive long in the internet world. What are the reasons on why having your own list is that important? With your own targeted opt in list, you will be able to increase your sales by following up with them. Secondly, you can repeatedly make money anytime you want once you have build the trust with your own targeted opt in list. Lastly, you will be able to leverage on all your marketing efforts. If you have new products that you want to launch, you will not always have to go and find new traffic; you

    Refinancing Closing Costs
Cost TypesRefinance closing costs come in two basic forms:prepayment penaltyloan costsThe first cost, the prepayment penalty, is a cost of getting rid of your current loan through a new refinance. Check with your current lender to see if you have a prepayment penalty, and how much this might be. Although you may have a prepayment penalty some lenders will waive the prepayment penalty if you refinance with them. The loan costs are the costs specific to the loan, broker, and lender you are choosing to work with.Closing CostsThe refinance closing costs include:Loan Origination FeeThis fee is a charge for originating or creating the loan by the lenderLoan DiscountThis is an upfront charge paid to the lender to get a lower interest rate – same as “buying the rate down”Appraisal FeeThis is the appraiser's fee for generating the appraisal reportCredit ReportThis is the cost of the credit report, usually less than $50Lender's Inspection FeeThis is the lender’s cost of inspecting a property – some may double check the appraisal provided by an independent appraiserMortgage Broker FeeThis is assuming you use a mortgage brokerTax Related Service FeeLender fee, usually small, for handling tax related mattersProcessing FeeThis is the charge for processing the
From our deconstruction of hundreds of Hollywood blockbusters and sitcoms at www.clickok.co.uk/

The Hero's Journey is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the Hollywood movies we have deconstructed are based on this template.

Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters.

    The Hero's Journey:

    a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.

    b) Gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, plot points, mid point and so on.

    c) Interpreted metaphorically, laterally and symbolically, allows an infinite number of varied stories to be created.

Apathetic Employees: Can Anything Get Them Moving?
Have you ever wondered if anything can get your employees to care about the work they're doing?Managers who are self-starters, who enjoy and are motivated by the work they do and the organization they work for, are sometimes puzzled by the perceived lack of motivation of their subordinates. The operative word here is "perceived", because they may, in fact, be motivated --- just not in the same way as you.If you think about it realistically, you don't necessarily want them to love the work, do you? What you expect is that they perform well on the job and contribute to the success of your department. They can do that without being cheerleaders, because everyone is motivated by something. It's a matter of finding out what it is.Here are a few of the causes that might make your people tick:• Career ambitionThese people want to move up in the world, either in your organization or another. If they can clearly see the relationship between their performance in their current positions and the chance of promotion, that will do it for them. Your job is to help them see the possibilities.• Approval and validationIn his groundbreaking 1982 fable, "The One Minute Manager", Ken Blanchard urged managers to "catch them doing something right." The idea was to give immediate positive feedback to people, which immediately makes them feel valued. Many people long for approval and validat

Like a brick wrapped in velvet - designing a conference presentation (or most other kinds too!)
IntroductionDid you know that the vast majority of men in the UK think they are “above average” as a driver? Obviously, about half of them must be wrong, by definition. Making a presentation often strikes me as being a bit like that. We all think we can do it – and many of us think we can do it well. Some of us are right: some of us aren’t. I’m not too sure that there’s much correlation between those that can and those that think they can, either! My approach to doing a presentation is summed up in the title: by analogy, a presentation should be “like a brick wrapped in velvet”. Unpacking that, the content of your presentation should be like a brick and the presentation itself should be like wrapping it in velvet. Bricks are simple, easy to pick up, usable on their own but more usable with other bricks. They’re easy to grasp and everything about them is immediately obvious. They’ve got a reasonable amount of ’stopping power’ too.On the downside, they’re likely to scrape your skin if you’re not used to handling them and they’re just that little bit too uncomfortable for most people, so wrapping them in velvet makes them more user-friendly for your audience. Velvet is smooth, subtle and covers over the rough edges – that means that more people are more likely to pick the brick up.To be blunt for a moment, no matter how good your brick might be, if the velvet isn’t up

Debt Management: How Deeply in Debt Are You?
When you feel like you're drowning in a never-ending sea of debts, it can be very difficult to take a really close, hard look at the actual dollar amounts. As strange as it might seem though... not knowing the exact dollar amount of every debt you owe can make the problem seem much bigger than it might actually be.And the first step to solving any problem, is knowing exactly what the problem is... and how bad it is too.So if you're ready to start reducing and eliminating some of your worst debts, the first thing you'll have to do is take stock of every debt you owe. Pull out every single bill - whether it's a back due bill, a collection notice from past debts you haven't been able to pay yet, loans you currently have open, and so on - pull them all out and get ready to take full stock of your debt problem. Now doing this step is critical. As I said before, you can't fix a problem if you don't know the full scope of that problem. So when you start looking over every single debt you owe, don't forget the mundane every day things. Mortgage payments, car loans, credit card balances, store lines of credit, and even ongoing contracts you may have such as your cell phone obligations. For the purpose of debt reduction and elimination, you shouldn't include regular monthly bills as part of your debt obligations. Why? Because those are never paid off. As long as you need and use those services, you'
