If you have kids, how close are the schools? How good are the report cards of the local schools themselves? Also consider the kind of commute you will have to work on a daily basis. Another good thing to take into consideration is the crime rates of the areas in question. If the area has a high rate of crime or a crime rate that seems to be on the rise then it might be a good idea to look elsewhere.
