Independent Professionals: What Paradigm Are You Weaving? Part 1

Straight away I'm faced with an ad from Virgin Credit Cards "Things get more exciting when you say yes!" presumably that means saying 'yes' to debt - in this case it's by clicking on the word 'yes' which opens a musical jewellery-box. A ballerina proceeds to leap out from her fixed spinning and start gyrating like a mental raver! Is this what Virgin

      Post Interview Etiquette
An interview is tough work, tougher than writing a final exam: You may be mentally and physically prepared, but you don't know what kind of questions will be thrown at you, who will be asking them and how you will psychologically respond to them. Once an interview is over and done with, there is some etiquette you must follow - irrespective of the fact whether you get the job or not. Because a professional approach after the interview will stand you in good stead with your employers, or even if you haven't been hired, the people who have interviewed you will always remember you for your post-interview etiquette and att
Half the battle in successfully managing your emotions during a job search or career change process is in recognizing and naming what you’re feeling.  Most of us could barely brainstorm a dozen or so emotions, yet many, many more exist.

        B.U.I.L.D. A Great Brand
Powerful brands are built, not born. A quick perusal of global marketing consultancy Interbrand’s fifth annual ranking of the world’s top 100 brands clearly demonstrates this fact. Released last summer, Interbrand’s listing illustrates the value of having a disciplined and methodical approach to brand building. According to Interbrand, the most valuable brands "focused ruthlessly on every detail of their brands, honing simple, cohesive, [consistent] identities."That’s a great insight, but where does that leave the small or medium-sized organization? How many different ways can you bind printed products? There are numerous ways you can bind manuals, books, calendars, guides, directories, catalogs, full color brochures and all other printed products.
